    apple and cheddar dog biscuits

    recipe

I made these cheddar and apple dog biscuits from the milly’s real food cook book and my dog archie and his girlfriend blue loved them, I made them when blue my mums dog came over for a play date. I’m one of those weird dog parents who treats their dogs like children lol so making them biscuits like this is something I love to do. I think photographing it was one of my favourite things ever too. archie loved being in the photos and now tries to poke his nose into every photo shoot.

    recipe

    • 1 mug brown rice flour
    • 1/2 mug shaved apple
    • 1/4 mug grated cheddar
    • 1/2 mug warm water
    • 1 egg white

preheat the oven to 200c/180c fan mix all ingredients except the egg white and turn out onto a surface dusted with rice flour. knead until fully combined and roll out until 1 cm thick and cut out with a cookie cutter and place on a lined baking tray and brush with the egg white and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. allow to cool fully and keep in an air tight jar. they keep for two weeks.

Just wonderful! I think it is a great idea to make your own pet treats.. way better than many of the commercial brands.

Yes and it’s good if your dog has some allergies as you will know what’s in it x

Oh my! These two are just the perfect photo models for these dog biscuits. I wonder if cats might like them too (I have 3 cats and no dog 🙂 ). x Kati
