shell collection tray tutorial


to make this tray i got a rectangle box frame and painted it white, then i lined the back part of the frame with white paper and glued some shells and sea creatures i had collected to it. for the handles i cut two strips of leather and made two holes in them and used screws to attach them to the side of the frame.

  4. Your shell tray is awesome, love, loving it. Must make one for summer decorating for our bathroom or living room, not sure where I'd want to use it first. So easy also. Will be on the lookout for the perfect frame with glass now. So glad you featured this project. Happy Weekend.

  5. I think it's getting incredibly difficult to find trays that have charm and are unique. Yours fits both of those categories! Beautifully done! And I love the leather straps! Set off with a small container of flowers (I would mention what flowers they are but I am a garden club drop-out!!). So very sweet! I found you at Shabilicious Friday...
