i cut a doily patten on my silhouette machine , but a normal paper doily will be fine if you use something to stick it to the glass with. then i sprayed over it with spray paint and waited for it to dry and then i removed it and ended up with this,  it took at most five minutes. the jar only cost be £1 from a great store i found at the weekend.
