making the most of your silhouette deer head welding shapes

you can do so much with your silhouette cameo the possibilities really are endless i have seen some beautiful hand cut pictures like his one i made with must of taken hours, but using your silhouette you can get the same thing in no time most of the hand cut ones are cut in one piece from one piece of card so i wanted to try and do that on my silhouette here's how

shapes used for the white part
2 option olive branch set
Echo park trophy head
leaf spray
plant (2)

i wanted to to make a paper cutting which was cut and joined on one piece of card
so to do this you need to weld the shapes
first i laid out the shapes in the position i wanted then i selected them all and pressed the weld button at the bottom
i have zoomed in so you can see that it has all joined together rather than lots of individual ones

at first i just wanted to keep it as the one piece of white card and i mounted it on some glass.
then i thought i would make another one for my mum but i wanted to make it a bit different , so i opened the shape back up and used the circle tool to make a shape that it would fit on. i cut it on a taupe coloured card

then in the same colour card i cut the shapes
branches
rose leaves
i re sized them to fit in the size of the white deer piece
then i glued the white piece on to the oval and then i folded the taupe leaves slightly so they would stand up then i added these leaves at the bottom of the oval and then i cut some 3d flowers on some pearl card.
