eline pellinkhof inspired pumpkin

i wanted to do something a little different than the usual halloween decor.
so first i painted the pumpkin white, i used some chalk paint i had left from another project, then i printed a picture of a eline pellinkhof cross stitch rose on some wax paper, i love her work its beautiful. then i painted the area on the pumpkin with mod podge, then quickly peeled it of so i could see an transfer outline, i then waited for it to dry and coloured over the transfer with pens, i thought it would be nice to have a pink theme.

  1. I have not tried using waxed paper for a transfer, though I use it for everything else! I love the pastel pumpkin!

  2. I need to try the wax paper technique. Does it work for laser jet printers only? That's why I haven't attempted it yet. Beautiful pumpkins!!
