faux mason jars (diy tnted glass)

i did not have any mod podge so i made my own using 2 parts elmers glue with 1 part water, then i added eucalyptus food colouring i found that this colour made the best mason jar blue, but you can always mix a drop of green in with blue. i have found that when you mix it to make it allot darker than what you want as when it dries in the oven it goes allot lighter.

once you have your coloured tint ready, pour in into the jar, make sure its clean and dry, and swirl it around so that the tint covers it completely then tip up sided down over the sink, then rest upside down on an old cloth of paper towels. let it rest for a while so any excess can drip out then place in the oven on a low heart (120c) for 5-10 minutes.

in england we dont have mason ball jars and to get them it would cost a fortune in postage so i made my own from old kilner jars
