london underground, subway art

to make this i used a piece of wood, vinyl for the lettering and black, and white paint,
first i painted the wood white. then using the silhouette machine i cut out the london under ground names, and transfered it over to the bit of wood like the picture below, some of the letters tore but i tried to fix them back together.
then i painted the whole thing black, i scraped the paint to make it appear worn.
then once the paint is dry peel the letters off so that the white paint is revealed.

and its done, im thinking about rubbing the edges down with sand paper to age it a bit more.

  2. Fabulous job! I agree - with a little more distressing at the edges it will be perfect!
