heres the before picture of the gossip bench before i painted it
i got it for £8 at the recycling centre at the tip, i dont drive so i hauled this back on the bus lol.
i rubbed it down then painted 3 layers of creamy white paint, its supposed to be normal matt emulsion but this paint has a really chalky look when its dry.
i decided to stencil this houndstooth patten onto some white fabric. i used my silhouette machine to cut the stencil on to some clear vinyl, then dabbed the paint on evenly with a paintbrush. then i covered the seat with it.

sorry i couldnt get better pictures, they dont really show it off very well, because the light is not very good in this room.
