what you need

1. king size bed sheet and a double bedsheet
2. scissors
3. chalk
4. needle and thread
5. circle object to draw around
6. sewing machine

 step 1
cut the bed sheet into equal squares. i did this by folding it, then cutting it so that they were all the same size.

 step 2
with your squares, find the middle and draw a circle with chalk.

 step 3
do a running stitch around the circle, like the photo above, then pull it tight like the photo below, then with the puff that is created from this, flatten it and take the needle through the centre of it and then knot it at the back.

 step 5
continue this on all of the squares.

 step 6
now you need to join them all back together. i did this a line at a time, first lay a square down the right way up, then lay another on top with the wrong side up to that the detailed sides are facing, then pin together ensuring that the ruffles are showing at stitch together with the machine, then once all the sqares are sewn togther in strips, then sew the whole thing togther.

i pinned each edge together so that the squares lines up then stitched it.

 then to make it into the bed cover lie the double sheet on top and sew around 3 sides , leaving the bottom open, then turn the right way at sew poppers on the bottom.
