slippers tutorial
i got fed up waiting for my brothers to pop around to see me this morning (they are hungover already lol) so i decided to make some last minute presents for family. and i wipped these slippers up. i didnt have a pattern so i will try and explain how make them.
next you cut two pieces of pattened fabric (mirror image) for the outside and two pieces for the inside and batting, i drew around the front of my foot.
next i cut two long strips for the back, folded it in half then put batting between the layers. now you are ready to start stitching.
lay the two pieces for the front of the foot inside out with the pattened sides facing and batting behind and stitch along the top, then turn the right way,
now its more difficult to explain as i didnt take any more pictures (im sorry)
now get the long strip and fold in half, and lay flat. then stitch it the the front piece. now lay it on to the inside foot piece (bottom bit) and batting at stitch around. then with the last foot piece. put on top of the whole thing. (so the slipper is underneath this layer. then pin and stitch around and leave a small gap, to then turn it inside out, now you have your slipper, all you need to do is stitch up the hole you left. it is so easy i hope i havent made it sound to difficult. then i wanted to you could add some embellishments to jazz them up
merry christmas

Cute slippers...and I'm impressed that you made them without a pattern. I'm not brave enough to try that yet!
