  1. I've seen something similar, basically just a "shape" wreath (alphabet, circle, heart, etc) of old photos and I liked it too.

Our family always took a picture of just our Christmas tree, so I have at least 15 trees with no real way to date them. I was thinking about just using those and giving it to my mom for Christmas--half in jest (why did we do this every single year, and did we really need 5 shots of the same tree too??) but also to celebrate where we've been. :)

I thought a tree shape would be most appropriate!

I've been sifting through about 30 years worth of printed pictures, so I see trends like that now as I go back to organize the really old stuff. Not worth scanning, hate to throw away, might as well create with them!

  2. Oh I made on of these. You can use them for so many different things. It was such an easy, cheap project. I made it in honor of my Dad's birthday. I'll make another one in January for my mom. You can use your pictures without damaging them. You can check mine out at http://smlthings.blogspot.com/2011/09/make-it-photo-birthday-wreath_29.html

Just found your blog and was going through the entries. I really like your projects!
