for this cushion, you need,
one square piece of hessian
one rectangle piece of fabric for the back
stencil
black paint
white paint
sponge brush
masking tape
sewing machine
then with the masking tape, make two lines down the middle of the fabric, and paint with white paint, then remove the tape and wait for it to dry.
make sure to dab it on, and not to go over the lines, i did the layer of paint quite thick.next decide what you want to put on your cushion, i decided to put product of great britain, so i looked at the fabric and decided the best placeing to ensure the words would be in the centre.
use the stencil, and dab the paint over it, dont worry if it bleeds a bit this adds to the grain sack look. i held the fabric under the fire after each letter to dry it so i didnt smudge it, and cleaned the stencil each time, this is quite time consuming after each letter but its worth it.
then with the larger peice of backing fabric, cut in half, fold over the rough edge and stitch with sewing machine, then place on top of cushion making an envelope and stitch all the way around, cut off any excess and turn the right way. Now its done you have your own personalised grain sack look cushion. i stitched around it with the machine twice as hessian is prone to fray and i didnt want it to fall apart.

that looks terrific~!! I appreciate the tutorial and material list.
