book page, hessian noel garland

first you need to tear out some book pages, you need 4 pages for each rosette, then you need to fold them like a fan
then bend them in the middle, and trim the edges so that they are all neat and the same size
then open out and glue and fold back up again
now you have lots of quarter peices
then using four of the quarter pieces glue together in a circle like below.
then continue this to make four rosettes
then cut four circles of hessian, and use a stencil so write the letters N,O,E,L on each one. i used white acrylic paint.
then using a glue gun i stuck them to the centre of each circle.

then, get a piece of ribbon, and glue it to the back, making it into a garland, i glued paper over the ribbon to make it succure.
then i used velcro to hang it to the fire place.
